Andrea Sheridan manages our school and in addition to being a mom and a REALTOR®, she’s very active in our Local, State and National REALTOR® boards.
Melissa Corley, REALTOR®
Melissa has spent the past couple years working as a middle school English teacher. She holds two college degrees and is a huge enthusiast for continued education of all types. Used to working daily with teenagers, Melissa strives for patience, kindness, and understanding in all walks of her life both within her past in public education and with working with real estate agents as their transaction coordinator. As things with public education began to change rapidly the past years, Melissa saw the way that her husband Gary took care of each of his real estate clients and the happiness that radiated off of him working within the real estate world. Melissa now gets to feel that same passion both as a teacher of real estate agents and as their transaction coordinator.
Her motto is based on a famous quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson. It goes something like, “To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the beauty in others; to leave the world a bit better... and to know that one life has breathed easier because you lived here. This is to have succeeded.” Melissa was raised here in the Kansas City area, and currently lives in the Kearney area. Melissa has a handsome realtor husband, one fantastic bonus daughter, four fluffy felines, and a lab mix puppy. Transitioning from helping and teaching middle schoolers to teaching and training realtors touches Melissa's heart and sticks within her motto of winning the respect of intelligent people and to help the realtors of tomorrow breathe easier because she was there to assist and teach them.
